  1. Having purchased a kindle fire hd through my US mailing address (basically a mailbox) and being aware that I would not be able to download movies due to locatino and copywrite issues, I am most surprised to find out I cannot even access free games on the device. I am able to get books, free and paid; however when I seek to get games I get an error that says “please check your billing address and payment method are from a supported country” I expected this for movies, but why is it that I can’t even get free games and other free apps?

    • I would imagine even the free content is licensed free only in the U.S.A., as the companies may wish to charge for the same content in other countries.

Both your billing address and credit card have to be U.S. to be eligible for mostly all of the content from Amazon. It doesn’t stop you from buying your content elsewhere and using other appstores however.
